I have a FAT32 partition that I want to resize and turn into a Linux partition and a Linux swap partition. The problem I'm having is when I try to resize the FAT32 partition, (im using Partition Magic 6 btw)
I get:
Error #2003
File size does not match FAT allocation for file.
What am I doing wrong here?

Hey I dont know if this will work but I think that you should fdisk and del the partion and set it as active agian, and then trie running the PQMagiq, and rebuild it from there. hope this helps

Another good program is the Ranish partition manager (search for it on CNET) which will delete partitions and re-format from a floppy.

I had the same problem, too.
in the end i burned all my stuff on CD and did a low-level format.
Partition Magic really ****ed up my drive and my partitions.
