GCC help

I have a software call interceptty for some reason it won't work with my other linux for some reason.Would i need to upgrade my Gcc?



But that software work just fine on Red hat linux 7.1



Should i upgrade the gcc before i download the kernel?:confused:

By 'won't work', do you mean that it won't install or you have installed and it won't launch?
