What IM software is currently used with Linux?

My company uses Lotus Sametime, and I was hoping that there is something that can connect to a sametime server.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

There's lots of great IM software for Linux, everybuddy (www.everybuddy.com) for example supports AIM, ICQ, MSN, Yahoo! and Jabber all in one program. Licq (www.licq.com) is my favorite but everyone I know uses icq, it also supports ssl if both people are using licq. I don't think you will find support for the Lotus IM though.

Does IM mean instant messaging? Because if not, then I don't know what you mean by it. Perhaps a clearer explanation of the problem would help.

Same here. Now I know that IM software is.

Not everyone will know what IM or GM or QX or GN or ES or YI IS.

If you want to increase your chances on who can understand and perhaps help you, then please be a little more specific.

Us older folk do not always know what you are asking. Strike, not me... :D
