im all dizzy over this linux stuff so bear with me...

im trying to complile nessus, but it says it cant find gtk-config....i cant find it either...

im on mandrake 8.0, does it have its own gtk, which is what seems to be the case, and i tried downloading the rpms from gtk.org, but when i try to install them i get conflicts with the existing version....is there a way to solve this trouble...and if someone could also tell me how to change gcc on this thing, cause evfidently i need to either upgrade or downgrade from 2.96 to 2.95 or 3.0

thanks...

Nessus rpms can be obtained here: http://seawolf.freshrpms.net/
They're for redhat 7.1 but they'll likely work with mandrake 8.

If you still need some gtk files it's all on the mandrake cd's but you probably only needed development files since you were building from source.
