Hey people i got Mandrake 7.2. Im not that happy, its not fast and well... The point is the the webfonts i downloaded for Netscape as pointed out in the NHF, dont work. I get an error saying that it doesnt appear to be a RPM package. Why? In any case where can i get some nice fonts for netscape? Im going blind.

Mandrake 7.2 ships with a GREAT tool called drakfont. If you have Windows installed on the same PC, it will search for the fonts and install them for you. If you do not have Windows installed, you can direct it to where you have the fonts (floppy, zip disk, etc.). It's very easy to use and works great.

I copied my windows fonts using DrakFont. In the NHF it says:

mkdir /usr/share/fonts/ttf
cp /path-of-fonts/*.ttf /usr/share/fonts/ttf
cd /usr/share/fonts/ttf
ttmkfdir > fonts.scale
mkfontdir

Where the path-of-fonts is is of course where you copied your TTF files to.

Um I don't know where DrakFont copied the TTF to. Is there a way to find out.

Thanks for any help.
