Hi all,
I have an Apache webserver up and running on my Linux box that I'm using to serve phpBB. Since it is a public server, I'd like to try to secure it as much as possible. The server is connected to the internet through a Linksys BEFW11S4 v2, which is set to block all ports but port 80. However, I'd like to use Snort or another IDS to see who is scanning my network before it is blocked by the firewall. Can anyone point me to a relevant tutorial? Thanks!
