go to the mandrake control center, choose
hardware, then display, and there you

Hardware is not shown anywhere in there...do I need to be logged in as root to see this?

Ah! I found it! Jeez! I woulda never of thought that the KControl Center button on the Menu is totally different from the Mandrake Control Center Icon on the desktop! Mandrake should rename theirs to Control PANEL or just something slightly different so that beginners like me don't have to post crap like this!
