eth0 inactive after update

Can't seem to get any help in the Technical Support forum, so I though I'd post here as well, considering all the wonerful support I got getting my NIC recognized. Subject says it all, my NIC became inactive after running Red Hat update. Details can be found in the following link:

First, you need to check that the nic shows up with..

the command: /sbin/lsmod.

Activate the eth0 device with the command: /etc/rc.d/init.d/network start
