Ok here is what I want to do, I wanna have my server be accessable thru ftp in the /home/httpd/html dir, so I can update my apache webserver remotely like f2s..... I dont know how you would do this because whenever I put a user there it messes up apache and is not access able to "everyone" in their web browser??

I know I am alittle blah with wording but give me a break I am a newbie

http://www.linuxnewbie.org/ubb/smile.gif thx

If u have any suggestions dont hesitate to post.....

You can just install wu-ftp, and setup a user for update purposes and just set that dir for the home for that user...that is what I used to do....

Either that or just ftp to your machine and go to that dir...
