I can't seem to get into x unless I am root.
I can't startx obviously, but I tried changing the default runlevel to 4, and rebooted. Now, my user doesn't show up on the screen, so I type it in manually, and it tells me that I don't have a shell configured. So I check out /etc/passwd, and it doesn't even list a shell for me, so I typed one in.
Now at least it doesn't give me the shell error message, but it starts kde, and it says something about couldn't connect to the dcopserver. What is this, and how do I start it?
Thanks
