Well, as always there are a few routes to your solution. Usually the easiest for those accustomed to Wincows would be to totally wipe your disk clean (assuming you have no qualms about losing all data) and reinstall Windows. From there you can aquire 3rd party repartitioning software (many prefer Partition Magic) and create a new partition. You can leave the new empty space as is or create a new linux filesystem within it (again, Partition Magic can accomplish this). Next step would be to Install RedHat into the empty space, making sure to choose a bootloader during the install so that you can choose between operating systems upon boot.
Another route would be to install Windows normally, then use the partitioning utility included in the RedHat installation. This would save the most time and would be my preferred method.
Whatever you do, be sure to install Windows first and Linux second, as installing Windows second will overwrite the primary boot sector and force you to boot only into Windows. If this ocurrs, you must boot into RedHat (using either a boot floppy created during install or the installation cds) to remedy the problem.
hope it helps

Wine is usually for dual boot situations. If there's a program that you wanna run in Linux, and it's already on installed in Windows then yes, you will have to point Wine to your Windows partition.
If you wish to install a program in Linux for Wine it's a bit trickier. Wine will look for certain files when it helps a program to run. Some of these files are created when you install the program in Windows. Since most Windows *.exe's won't install in Linux you've basically hit a dead end. A way around this is to install an app in Windows, then copy all the necessary files (some of which were created during the install) onto the Linux parition, and run it purely from Linux.
All that having been said, I'll restate that it's usually easier for those who dual boot to simply point Wine to the Windows partition.

Have a look through the Window application list at www.winehq.org to see if they have anything on running OfficeXP.
