i have linux mandrake 6.5 on my computer and im running xwindows using the svga server.
i have a geforce 2 mx and a cybervision monitor. specs here: http://www.cybervisiondisplays.com/prod/c70.htm

well anyways, when im in the desktop, im in such a small resolution (i think its smaller than 640x480) that i can only see parts of the windows that i open up. i have to drag them around to see the whole window. and my colors are kinda messed up too. when i run netscape, everything turns into like grayscale. im guessin its cause im using the wrong display server...

i bought linux like last year, but i hadnt gotten around to actually installing and using it until about two weeks ago. so if you could, try and take me step by step =]

well if u have a new vid card that would be smart... cause not everything is built into the kernel, and 6.5 sucks compared to 7.2 d/l that..
