It depends what kind of ATA-100 controller is used with quantum drive...is it promise,hpt? or is it built into mainboard?The drivers or should i say support should be in the kernel that redhat installer uses.Hope this helps.

It's HPT370 UDMA/ATA100 RAID Controller built in mainboard...

The newer 4.? kernels have support for the HPT370 though I'm not sure if Raid is supported by hardware.
