Hey all - just wanted to know if anyone's had issues installing onto a partition on a notebook... specifically, i'm looking to install on 3.2gb of space that i have on my sony notebook - p3/750 - is there anything i need to watch out for? any things i should be careful of?

Certain distros if you select the default installation mode will wipe out existing (os) partitions.

I would suggest you select 'Expert Mode' so you have control over the install process and make sure you read ALL your distros installation guides on the CD, user guide (if retail package) and what is available on their website.

Much obliged, mdwatts... a friend of mine did the same thing, dualbooting between rh8 and xp, so I'll probably try it when I'm hanging out w/ him - just wanted to see if any of you had any tips... :-)
