Downloaded the Beta 3 (thought it was beta 2) and burned the iso. Wanted to install it to see how it looks and works.

I have an Intellimouse Explorer hooked up to my usb port and while booting to the CD, it seems to be detected fine.

When the first screen appears, the cursor is in the center of the screen and won't move! I can't use the arrow keys either to advance so I had to reboot my machine, though this time without the Progeny CD in the drive.

Anyone else have siilar problems? If so, where you able to fix/get around this problem?

Thanks for your help :D

Anyone notice that when you click on a Graemlin inside of Konqueror, you get "undefined"

If you read the README notes that come with the release, you'll see that, since this is a beta release, many "issues" like yours still need to be resolved. If you have a serial mouse, by the way, you'll have the same problem.
All sorts of wrinkles need to be ironed out yet so don't expect a whole lot. I found it easier to install a barebones version of debian potato then use apt-get to get progeny installed (off the cd). Works fine. Yes, a few wrinkles still, but it works pretty well.
