Middle of the evening to all:

I just downloaded debian and wanted to know if their is Debian specific book that anyone uses that they can recommend. I already have Running Linux. I want one that is specific to Debian that may help with the install and configuration.

Thanks to all replies.

Linuxly yours,

Oreilly has a learning Debian GNU/Linux book on their website. I just installed it a week ago and I really didnt need any help setting it up. Especially if you install from CD i dont think you will have any problems :)

Debian specific books . . . let me see. Try: http://www.newriders.com/debian/html/noframes/node1.html
and take a look at the contents of an online guidebook for Debian.
There is also an O'Rielly book on Debian but I believe it was written for Slink rather than Potato. There is also the Debian Linux User's Guide at: http://www.linuxpress.com/0-9659575-1-9.html
this one is also a bit out of date.
A visit to a well stocked computer book store should also give you some leads. Good luck and sorry if this is not exactly what you want.
