After installing MD7.1 on my brothers system, works pretty good btw, I want to install MB8.0 now.
I did download the iso-file, burned it to a cd and in my Win ME it boots right away. I did check it, with the program md5sum.exe, that I did download after a lot of LINUX users did tell me here. No errors with the download.
When I put the cd in my bro's system, and try to boot with cdrom, it doesn't boot.
With a floppy, made a boot one with MD8.0, it boots, but when it has to start intstalling I get the next error:
Trying to access a CDROM disk (drive CD-ROM 36X/AKW)
That CDROM disk does not seem to be a Linux-Mandrake Installation CDROM.
Retry with another disk?
And then the options to choose, 0. 1. 2.
Anybody who has the sollution for this question?!?!?
