I am very new to c programming and I am trying to write a program that will send information to my browser (mozilla).

I would like the program to fill-in input fields with already existing information -- sort of like what Gator does. Sorry to use Gator as an example, but that gives you the best idea of what I'm trying to accomplish.

I have searched numerous forums and Google, but I'm really not to sure where to start when it comes to streaming information to an already open browser.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

phoenix (mozilla based) supports remembering input fields (if I understand you correctly).

why reinvent the wheel?

but if you so choose, why not look at the phoenix source?

http://texturizer.net/phoenix/index.html
http://www.mozilla.org/projects/phoenix/

also, since this is mozilla based...maybe the functionality exists in the mozilla core...maybe have a look at that too.

Thanks for the information BigFatJoe. I'll checkout pheonix -- looks interesting.

And threadhead... *slap*. Since we are dealing in one word replies, you should understand that one... I think.

c_challenged, when somebody on LNO says BUMP, or *bump*, or even 'bumparoo', they are usually bumping your thread up to the top of the page in order to make it more visible and thus make it more likely to be responded to. Isn't that right, threadhead?

Well...I thought it was better than having people get slapped for bumping..
