Setup keeps asking the same question!

I just tried to install Mandrake 7.2. It was working until setup asked me if I had any SCSI interfaces. I don't, unless you count my ATA/100 Promise IDE controller as a SCSI interface. So I click "No". Then setup does some detection thing really quickly (says SCSI|DISK ppa or something like that), and asks the same question again! No matter what I do, it just keeps on asking the same question over and over...

Is this because of the Promise ATA/100 controller that my Hard driver is on? I'm using an Asus A7v.

I got the same motherboard but I don't dare try to duel boot for the same reason. Did you try dissableing your ATA-100 controller from the bios? Also, hook the HD up to the primary or seccondary IDE ports and not one of the UDMA-100's, this may help too.
