Is this modem suported by linux (however I don't thik it is), where could I get the drivers for it

You're going to have to get a modem that isn't a winmodem. I've actually always had USR, had a Hayes 300bps when I was a kid, but since then, USR has never done me wrong; plus, I'm not aware of any other quality externals on the market (i'm sure there's plenty, but they don't have 'em at any comp stores near me; just crappy linksys stuff) justlinux.com
