When I start KDE 2 and leave it for some time (10-15min), power on button starts flashing and Linux box makes constant sound. Once it froze in that state. I am pretty sure that I don't have Power saving feature on in KDE 2. This does not happen when I am in console mode. I even disabled apmd on Linux.
