Hello:

Can anybody suggest where I can find info on how to restrict the ammount of bandwith a particular computer can consume in a LAN? Or at least if it is possible?
For example...if I had a 4 computer network, can I manually set the maximum ammount of bandwith a particular computer can consume (say 25%) of the total bandwith available for the network?

Thanks in advance...

Only thing you can do is set NICs to 10 half/full 100 half/full
And why would that be necessary? Especially with only 4 computers, Go to Best Buy and grab yourself a cheapy $50 Linksys switch and it will do what you want. Or if you'd like Ill sell you a preconfigured Cisco Switch which can be set to very specific port bandwidth limits for around $3000.
