windows comming to front...MAKE IT STOP!

Oh can I turn off windows coming to the front..especial AIM.....It is SOOOOO ANNNOOOYYYIIINGGGG...I am getting mass IMs from a million people..mostly whinning about my server being down....And they just keep popping in front of everything..I'm going insain..anyone know how to turn this off??

Are all these IM's comming from users on your list? I believe that you can set it to only accept messages from users on your list.

Or put it on away mode and leave an email address as the away message??

No I don't want to restrict peopls ability to send me messages..I'll read them..but I just don't want the IM windows popping in front of everything everytime they send a message..I noticed this in Gaim too...

What window manager are you using? Is there an option under gaim to turn it off?

KDE..none of them have options for it..I"m guessing it's the os..I think all windows come to the front when they update like that..more noticible with IM's though

I am not sure how to set focus settings in KDE, I'm using Enlightenment right now. But for GAIM Under Options -> General tab -> "Raise Windows when messege recived" and/or "Raise window when person speaks" Uncheck those
