So there is the show new post button. How about button that shows all threadhere you have posted which have new post in them. Would make it somewhat easier in following, if the solution was found, after longer period of time (like ~12 hours or weekend).

If you subscribe to a thread, then it will show up in your user profile, and you will receive an e-mail whenever anyone replies to that thread.

One point is that i don't want e-mails when someone posts something. That would be annoying. This option is definately hazardous atleast in "/devrandom" (although answer is not subscribing them).

But granted that would help. Then 'd find them in profile anyways. I assume that i can switch off the "mail when getting post to subcribed thread", but can you then subscribe all the threads where you post automatically? Then it would work similarly (bit kludgey to use perhaps... :)).

You can set e-mail notification to be on by default in 'Edit Options' on your profile. Or you can check the box at the bottom of the reply form. I don't think you can subscribe without getting email, but I could be wrong.

So this means that atm i dont have more convinient way of checking the threads where i have posted than checking all unposted mails. Since any way of seeing that would require me to get emails as someone postes and that is something that i don't want.

We live and learn. And point this out to all who read this thread :).

At the moment it's not possible. So we'll leave it open in the forum suggestions. Seems to me the best thing would be if you could enable subscription, but without getting emails - you could just set your email to a dumping address I suppose? (As a short term measure)

Exatly. But i don't want to put there unexisting address if someone needs to mail me about something (mods, me losing my accout passwd etc).

So here to hoping a mod will poke a head into this thread. Hopefully his/hers own as well :).

Ups, like not realizing you was mod... *blush* :p.

Anyways three things to add in profiles would allow it.

1. Do you want to show from subscribed threads only ones with new posts (y/n) Default N.
2. Do you want to automatically subscribe new threads you post into (y/n) Default N.
3. Do you want e-mail everytime someone posts into thread you have subscribed (y/n). Default Y.

These would work (if i understand subscription, not used, right). And without changing the defaults it would work as it works right now.

Edit: Ps while i'm at it. Add to advanced member search possibility to search for moderators :).

Just go to search and instead of searching for a topic,
"Search By User Name" and enter your own username.

You will then be taken to a page that contains only the threads to which you have posted.
