Any body know anything about slide-out button bars?

I understand that enlightenment uses this concept alot, and so I was wondering if I could configure the settings for the bar. I know that some themes for enlightenment come with default settings for the programs that the designer used on his/her box. I just wanna change it. And no, it's not in any ****ing manual.

No, it's not really in any FM, you are right. I've found the theming documentation for Enlightenment to be rather poor and that the consensus of the community is to "just fool around with them". But, I much prefer to learn from a text, and there aren't any good ones out there that I know of. It's a good thing I've found a theme I like perfectly fine.

Are there any theme developers out there that would know how to?
I've followed the instructions that the author so meticulously presented, but nothing seems to work.
