Networking LInux and XP

I'm a Linux newbie.

I would like to file share between Redhat and XP. I have the two computers hooked up to my network. They seem to be networked togerther correctly.

The problem I'm having is file sharing. I have been told to install samba to get Linux and Xp to file share. I'm struggling with it.

Anybody out there that can help this newbie?
