I am trying to configure x in slack but I cant get it to work... XF86Setup was really good and easy... I understand that xf86cfg replaces it but it dosent seem to work... Whhat can I use to configure X in slack...

Took me awhile to figure out everything that worked well with my computer without destroying it in the process. However, once you have made sure you have ALL THE CORRECT SETTINGS (this is vitally important - and it's different for each system, so you'll have to discover the settings on your own) - then you can *probably* type in the following.
