Themes in KDE

I have Mandrake 9.0 and use KDE 3.0 as my window manager. Supposedly there are themes you can use, but I can't ever seem to get them to work. If I go to the theme manager and select a theme out of the list it says that there is no ".themerc" file. I find it hard to believe that the themes that came, by default, with KDE don't have the correct files to run. Is anyone else having this problem and if so, how do I fix it?

If you have a box set of Mandrake 9, on one of the cds is kdeartwork.rpm with has the theames. this might solve your problem.
