Windex on an LCD Screen?

I think someone used a windex type spray on my laptop's LCD screen, and now there's a few little spots here and there that have been eaten away from it. Is there anyway to fix this?

On the surface or are these pixels that are 'missing'?

What does the manual say about cleaning the LCD display?

If damage has been done, there is no way to fix yourself as you will need to take it in for repair (and that someone should pay).

Yes. The damage is done. It's damage to the actual surface of the screen itself, not like pixels are missing. It isn't that bad. I was just kind of wondering if maybe they had invented some sort of magic goop or something that would fix it. Oh well...

Try searching around for ??? 'LCD cleaning' 'LCD repair display' etc. etc.

Of course that is good advise for anyone.

Don't limit yourself to waiting for replies to your questions posted here at JL. Continue searching for solutions by other means as there are lots of good search engines out there. Even the manufacturers site may have something to help.
