I am considering taking a course or some courses in Linux. The problem I have run into is that I am not sure exactly witch one to take. Let me explain it in different terms. Red Hat offers their own Certification and there are a few other certifications available that are pinpointed to specific distributions themselves. One other option is to get an overall Linux Certificate. Keeping in mind that all Linux operating systems should follow guidelines that are set by the GNU/Linux systems and most major distributions do follow these guidelines. If I decided to go with that option there is another problem. What company do I choose? What do employers recognize? I am not sure whom to ask but I do know where to start. I’ll start by posting it on a Linux message board. Any ideas?
