I'm preparing to install suse via ftp, and I have problems creating the bootdisk
I do the
# dd if=/home/8.1/boot/bootdisk of=/dev/fd0 bs=36b
( hash mark added just now )
but when I look at the contents of the floppy in the file manager, there's mainly binary looking junk in the file names list, many of supposedly 1 to 4 gigs large, for a grand total of approximately 300 GIGS on
one lil' ol' 1.4 M floppy. (???)
Hey, maybe I just invented a super floppy technology :)
So what gives? Is this normal?
