Just do ln -l XXXXX where XXXXX is the Netscape exec ... If you do not see a x for 'Others', do chmod +x XXXXX nanode 02-20-2001, 10:36 AM I have the same prob. I've found I can su while X is running as a non-root user, and netscape 6 will launch. That's okay, but I'm not thrilled about web browsing exclusively as root. justlinux.com
