I am using gShield to help me configure my firewall and NAT settings and have come across something odd. For some reason, the Windows clients running mIRC cannot DCC Send anything. They can receive fine though. I had run into this problem earlier using FireStarter as my firewall and Lorithar instructed me to have my mIRC clients get their IP address via Normal instead of the Server. This fixed the problem perfectly...but I have had to rebuild the machine and decided to give gShield a try now. Can anyone shed any light on this for me?...:(
