hello, i haven't make my sound blaster live oem to work, but i think im close to achive.
My question is this, if i make the SbLive to work will it play digital audio?
Or just stereo, because i have the Creative Dtt 3500 Speakers, and i'm using the digital output.
If so, who do you think i can do that.
Thanks :)

You can make use of the digital output on SBLive very easily. Just go to http://opensource.creative.com/ and get the latest source snapshot for emu10k1. From there, follow the instructions in the documentation in the tar or diff file that you have downloaded (whichever format you prefer). Build the modules, then install them. After that, go into the documentation and read about the emu-script. It's a very useful tool that will load bass/treble support, AC3, as well as your digital output automatically. All you have to do is enable the digital output in the script and then make an entry in your /etc/modules.conf file.

Let me know how it works out.

Hmmm...not sure. I'm not familiar with segmentation faults. Don;t know much about that particular program either. Sorry.

Then again, you could always post the EXACT error here and let somebody else look at it. They might be able to help.
