the search function

ya i know this might not be the exact perfect forum and all that, but well i wanted people to actaully read it, has anyone here EVER gotten the search function to WORK, i mean i have tried it occasionally over the past few months, and it never does anything, it just times out after awhile, well it used to, now it either keeps refreshing this page that says "0 entries found so far, searching" or it spits out something weird like "test 257-yt328-7t438" or something, and since well everyone says "search first" would be nice if the search worked, jus wondering .. love the boards, and well have no feelings about the search because it doesnt exist heh ..

You know, I hear many people complaining about search, but the funny thing is that I have never not had it work on me, and I use it very often (at least once or twice a day). I don't know, but it always works for me.

I use galeon as my main browser so maybe that has something to do with it. I don't know, I just find it hard to respond to search questions because it always works for me.

Maybe someone else can suggest why this is so?
