I have a Win 98 ( I know) and a Linux (Redhat 6.0) box at home. I have an ADSL line coming in. I want to be able to use the faster machine the 98 to act as a firewall to all the rest of the machines at home. I only have 1 IP address. Static. How do I configure the Linux box to go on the network, I have run Cat 5 cable down to it from the network hub. I understand I can use the 192.168.1.100 addressing system for the Linux machine, but will i be able to get out to the 'net and communicate with the Win 98 machine? Thanks in advance for your help.
