Ok i just got linux mandrake 8.2 installed on my older pc. I loged into my username in the terminal mode and then i typed start x to run the GNU. Well i got this error
execue failed for /etc/x11/x(errno2)
giving up
xinet: No such file or directory (errno 2): unable to connect with x server
xinit: No such process(errno 31): server error

Does anyone know how i might go about to fix this or do i need to reinstall linux again...?

Thanks in advance
