Okay, here's the deal..
Currently I have RedHat 6.1 installed on my linux box. (I like it. :D)
Although it sounds to me like I might need to upgrade here... (IPTables etc..)

Thing is though, do I need to go out and get ALL of RH 6.2, or can I just download the new componenets I need/want and plug those in, to get the same effect?
If so, which components would these be?
Or will it just be easier for me to go to the bookstore, and pay $20 to get 6.2 on CD's?
Or should I wait for 7.1? (I've heard that 7.0 "blows goats")

Thanks for the help/advice...

For RedHat, the *.0 is the unstable release, *.1 is the nearly stable release and *.2 is the stable release.

Cheapbytes and LinuxCentral sell CDs for $1.99 + shipping. Upgrading by CD is easier, but with D/Ling and installing, you learn more.

Pick one.

Okay... so beyond redhat 6.2, what other things should I get? new versions of important packages, new kernel, anything like that?

Get the patches. Although RedHat x.2 is deemed stable, it's not exactly secure out of the box. Make sure you download every single patch and install it.
