I know some of you out there are using giFT under Debian. What are you using for a frontend? I did not have any problem installing giFT itself, but I have had no luck with the gtk and ncurses front ends.
The ncurses front end wants a new version of libc6, which apt isn't finding (although I admit I haven't checked packages.debian.org).
The gtk frontend complains that I don't have gtk+ 2.x.x. When I try to install gtk+ 2.x.x it complains about my glibc which I install and then it complains about pango, which I try to install, which isn't finding my glibc. I feel like I am running Slackware again :D
So, for those of you running giFT on Debian, any pointers? Would be most grateful. Thank you.
