I am using Mandrake 8.2 with KDE, when I originally made my KDE desktop< i made one of the colors this light green, then I found out all my documents were printing with it wasting green ink in the backround. I changed my desktop colors to something else, but all the text documents STILL have this green backround. How do I fix it so it is white again?

Bear in mind, I'm not a KDE expert, but go into Control Center, go to "Colors" and make sure to pick white as the background. I know you said you did this, but when it comes to asking you to save the scheme, do that and call it something other than what you call it now.

Try that and see if it works.
