posting with Opera 5.0b6 browser....

Does anyone know of any issue with posting to web BBS's with Opera 5.0b6? I haven't found any mentioned on the opera website, but I post alot at http://forums.anandtech.com and I can't post a message with opera..........the last step I want before I use linux alot for a desktop.

I have no info for you except that it works for me on some forums and not on others. Sometimes it tells me that there is no content to post.

When I try to post at anandtech everything I always see 0 kb/s and 0K.

Its quite frustrating actually. Why can't I get linux ever working well enough to use for a desktop......for now though it might have to stay banished to my router/firewall :(

I'm using Caldera OpenLinux 2.4 eDesktop and I'm able to post messages to Anandtech just fine.

What browser are you using though? I can post there with netscape and mozilla, its just opera that is the rebel! :)

Hmm... you're right... it doesn't post the form.

Its pretty embarrasing. It can repeat the post on and on. I think what i'll do is to close off the window after the post is logged.
