I downloaded and the big problem is that any web page I view with flash on it hangs the browser! Everything else is cool, and looks better in 6.1 then 4.75 or whatever this came with...

Has anybody else had problems with Netscape crashing when using flash? (and yes, I did download and install the flash plugins)

Or even better, are there any other good browsers with support for flash/real audio/other assorted plugins?

How do I go about formatting my master boot record without hurting my Windows or Linux installations?

I'd get rid of Netscape 6.x altogether and go with Mozilla personally. I'm a bit behind the times with my install of Mozilla (still using 0.9.3), but Flash works just fine. Netscape 6.1 is based on Mozilla 0.9.2 if I recall correctly and from my understanding it will be the last version of Netscape as they are getting out of the web browser buisiness altogether. Mozilla is still in development and is currently up to version 0.9.5.

To format your MBR without touching your disk partitions you will want to use DOS fdisk and issue the command fdisk /mbr.

Thanks for the help on the second question... that was actually supposed to be posted in my other thread, but I guess I wasn't thinking!

And I'll give Mozilla a shot!
