Hello,
I hate that my first post is on deleting Linux, but I have to get rid of this computer (I'm still running it on my desktop :-) ). I'm still learning Linux and have installed different distributions using different methods/software for partioning on my computers, but this one has me stumped.
I installed Linux Mandrake 7 on my laptop last summer and I need to remove it so I can sell it. I installed it w/o using Partion Magic and I don't even think I used Fdisk...because when I go into Win 2K, my HD capacity does not show a sep. partition...just 1 GB less in size (the amount I allocated when I set up Linux). I dual boot with Win2K using LILO. I can use the "Full Restore" app that came with the laptop and "format" the drive and re-install Windows, but Linux still prevails after all this!
Can anyone give me some suggestions as to how to remove this? I didn't have this problem in the past when I created logical partitions using FDisk that could be easily deleted, but this is stumping me...I don't know where to start.
Thanks!
Sean
I kind of blundered
