I have a Win2k box running ICS with an internal Caldera OpenLinux box trying to lease an IP from the Win2k Box...

But when I restart networking, it says it cannot access DHCP server or something. I've checked the eth0-config file and played with the settings and also tried assigning a static IP all of which don't work...

Has anybody had similar problems with Win2k ICS and come up with a solution?

Thanks!

my box works fine with win2k ics.
on linux box :
1. if you can connect to win2k: try disable ICS > restart > enable ICS again.
2. type ping 192.168.0.1 (just make sure you can connect to win2k)
3. if you can connect to win2k: it is win2k's problem.
4. if you can't connect to win2k: it is linux netcard config. problem.
Good luck!
