Indeed. Thanks amigo. You've answered at least 40 questions posted by me over the years(and some were before the RTFM stage, which I'm sorry, I think encourages people to ask them to you;) ) You are the most prolific poster, and have the best knowledge base. Skoal!:)

Since Dec/99 though I have lost around 6 months due to corrupted accounts and not being able to get them fixed or register for a new account. Remember those days?

I actually thought this was going to be one of the 'let's dump on mdwatts' threads that I've grown accustomed to over the years. Guess having mod status (can you spell 'ban') helps. :p

And to Bishop William... Re: RTFM... You've heard about teaching a man to fish? That is my philosophy. After all, that is how I gained my (however limited) knowledge on Linux.

Someone has to read the manual/docs/faq's/manpages to be able to reply to all those newbie problems. No formal education, not one single Linux course. Only by reading, trying and learning.

You'll get no argument from me on that one. I just said you answered them before the stage. I had linux pretty much cold by the time that came around. I remember one of the first posts you helped me out on was configuring support for a network card in a redhat kernel for like 6.1 or something. It's been a while.
