Wondered if Linux can be added to a partition that has been formatted in FAT 32-I have a 9 gig drive, on which Win ME is installed on the primary partition. The second, or 'd' drive has about 6 gig free, and I'd like to put Red Hat 7 on it. Any way to do this and keep some of the Microsoft stuff (Office 2k, etc.) on that partition as well. Thanks very much for any help-Wil

You might consider just setting aside a partition for linux and go for a dual boot system unless you have some compelling reason not to? 6 gig should be more than enough.
