The sound on my DVD drive works well, but my CD-RW drive sounds faint. I've switched connections between the two, with the same effect. Could the cd-rw driver affect the sound? TIA.
Did some investigating and found that there are no drivers for CD/DVD/CD-R/CD-RW.... Also remembered my system had dual boot, so switched over to XP and found that it worked just fine, that scratches the idea that it was the CD-RW acting up.
