Challenges - Learning Linux

I'm looking for a good resource that can provide sequential challenges that will lead to a better understanding of Linux... such as:
1. Install Linux.
2. Setup a Web server
3. Setup a mail server
4. .... etc...

Just basically a resource that will list tasks that get sequentially harder and would hopefully include resources on what information you need to know in order to do them.... Any thoughts?

To learn about installing and maintaining linux I'd recommend Linux From Scratch (http://www.linuxfromscratch.org).
Taught me a lot... and still does.
