Newbie question here.
Installing rh7.1
If I plan on trying to set up the dns server as well what should I use for the hostname and server name. Should I use (eg)ns1.mydomain.com or just mydomain.com
I have registered a domain and have changed the nameservers at net solutions to my two linux box ip addresses.
From what I understand this ifo is stored in the /etc/sysconfig/network file
the /etc/resolv.conf
and the server name in the httpd.conf
Should the name be consistant for hostname and server name?
