Hi everybody!
I have a problem with RH7.2 and 7.3.
I use a cable-modem connection to the Internet, and my ISP assigns my a dynamic IP address.
After installing RH everything runs just fine, but after navigating for a while,
the whole system hangs, and I must reset my computer in order to recover it.
It has happened using 7.2 and 7.3 and also with several browsers (Netscape 4.79, 6.2, Mozilla
and Konqueror).
I tried to change my hostname to the host that the ISP assigns to me, create a bigger cache
area for pages that I navigate, connect as a diferent user than root, change the GUI
from Gnome to KDE... I'm not sure if it is a browser-specific, RH-specific or Fibertel-
specific problem (Fibertel is my iSP).
Also this happens in an random fashion, since in some cases the system hangs when opening
a page that I had navigated to in a previous session. I have checked that is not related to
Java, since the page where it crashed seemed to be an standard HTML page.
Thanks!
Diego
